Introductions to Main Pets

I've learned that every Strawberry Shortcake character has their own pet companion. The trend in pets is that they match their friends' looks via colors and patterns, their personalities, and they are not safe from re-design changes. Pets can go from monkey to racoon in a few years. My favorite pet is Custard the cat. She reminds me of my cat, who my companion exempted from my cats not pink and his name Randy. Besides the similarities of looks and personalities, pets are not safe to change and in the next paragraph I'll discuss the differences between past and present pets.

Pets have been changed to match their owners' new and hip looks. Characters like Custard, Pupcake, Cheesecake, and Parfait have stayed their original animal species, but have changed visually. With the changing times animals have been changed to more domesticated or pet-store pets. Like Rhubarb the monkey was changed to a raccoon and Marmalade the butterfly was changed to a dachshund. Designs have been simplified with the most modern design being the most recent iteration of the Strawberry Shortcake Series called “Berry in the Big City”. There has been a short called “The Berry Best Baking Show which just came out to hint at a new show.
